Seriously, where is it written that no one is allowed to have an opinion on a military conflict in the world unless they themselves are willing to partake in said war? Plenty of people have family members and relatives over in Iraq right now for example, but because they themselves are not "over there" they should shut their mouths and refrain from voicing their opinions? i just think its funny/interesting that so many people claim to "care" about everything but the reality is that they do absolutely nothing about it.
so... the net effect of all of their purported "caring" is the exact same as not caring, other than the fact that it offers some weak and false personal validation of ones own character.
anyone can claim to care. anyone can proclaim themselves to be compassionate. what separates genuine sense of caring, compassion and empathy for others is the degree to which that individual actually takes action to do something about it.
posting "hey, i care" on a forum... = not so much actual caring going on
booking a flight, picking up a gun and fighting for whats right = probably genuinely cares quite a bit
