NationalNet does not allow traceroute, ping or any other ICMP packet to enter our networks. This is done for security reasons, to disallow DOS (Denial Of Service) attacks.

Thanks for the heads up. Seems to be up now. Something with the DNS server. They're looking into it, and no... they weren't running the version that was patched this last month.

That's interesting, because 10 minutes ago I was getting no route, and now I am getting responses. Might want to recheck that. NatNet allows ICMP responses... or else my computer is completely fucked up.

Honestly....I dunno anything about all that.... I'm just a pornographer.

I just copied that off their FAQ. All I know is they do everything I want them to do, are always available 24/7 for tech support, and I can count on one hand how many times my sites have been down in almost a decade of service with them.

No worries... I promote a few sponsors who run on National Net and unfortunately, they are my lower ratio sponsors, so for them to go down, really kinda sucks for me, but when I updated and saw like 3-4 more sponsors all down, I thought it would be courteous to let a few people know - not because I didn't think NatNet wouldn't be on it - they are top notch, so i'm sure everyone here wouldn't expect anything less from them.
