Nobody seems to answer me in the Q and A forum... meh

So I'll post my question here:

I?d like to know your take on solo paysites; I intend to launch my own site in a few weeks. I used to do lots of ?teen site? modeling, babe stuff, lesbo , fetish and glam stuff? Since I am doing a lot of TFP shoots with the photographers I?ve known over the years, I do not stick to one particular niche. Is it good to be versatile, say, in one shoot the model plays the ?babe? role, in another more glam and mature, dominatrix switches to submissive etc? Or should I really stick to one particular niche, one that fits the model best? In my opinion I would think that the more styles you add, the best traffic you get since you touch a lot of subjects, or am I wrong?

Also I do not do any boy/girl action, what I mostly do is nude pix, toys, girl/girl (soft) and fetish. Im pretty open on the fetish stuff as long as it isn?t too freaky.

    What do you guys think?

I think you will be surprised how few copyrights you own on those "tfp" photos.

Um, no, we have written agreement for that, but thanks for your concern. Any output on the main question?

I have never heard of a "time for prints" agreement where either party could use the shots for a pay-site.

Will you be posting these without a copyright?

Generally speaking, amateurs only shoot "tfp" ... what quality level are we talking about?

Will each of the photographers (producers) post his business location on your site?

Agree to be at that address 20 hours per week as "custodian of records" or were you going to do this?

Do you have 2257 compliant records for models in the g/g material?

Welcome to the internet... Almost every model I have worked with this is how it was done. It was "Trade for Photos", not "Time for Prints"...

Sites that I have worked with that don't pay the models for shoots but give them the photos & videos for use on their websites (to just name a few)

Sounds like you have just about everything most girls who start their own sites have. I would suggest working on getting exclusive content of yourself (stuff shot only for your site).

Then you'll need traffic, do lots of girlfriend trades with other girls websites, join toplists, etc.

Good luck, there's about 10 million girls with sites out there like you now.

Not barking up the wrong tree ... You are talking about established internet models. We BOTH understand how that works.

She is talking about photos from back when she was doing "teen modeling" weekend photographer stuff, over the years.

Oh, well if that's the case, then you are right. But it's vague on what she meant, can go one way or the other, I interpreted it different.

She's canadian ...Under canadain copyright law .. she has rights to those images without the need of any liscence .. unless she signed a release form/consent form with monertary payment (iehter stated by TCP/barter or a dollar amount) naming the party whom the rights belong too (model, photographer or third party) ... On a TFP a release stating the afro mentioned is usually signed .. if no release was signed it's considered a verbal agreement to share rights however in this case the model has more rights then the photog ...

now should the Photographer have sold those images exclusively wihtout a consent form from the model in question .. he is completely at fault and can be pursued for damages by both parties.

Taking into consideration that it's past 4:20, and I'm pretty baked right now, everything I said may or may not make sense.

I say that if you have many different types of content then for sure you will bring in more viewers just because your site will appeal to that many more niches. Def. a good idea to have different sections filled with different content.

The stuff you siad you have already done before is exactly what surfers are looking for. Just keep up to date shoots and keep adding tons of content. I've always liked the idea of having some sort of way for your fans to buy and send you items to wear etc. since that's what's gonna keep 'em coming back, you know to see you in/out of it.

Let us know when you launch your site. BTW, surfers love to look at hot girls pouring Ready Lube all over themselves! so let's do some business together and watch your traffic soar!

                            Take care

                                    .
Ok .. For TCP she should of signed a release form allowing her and the producer/photog rights to the images, since she hasn't. She's automaticly have author rights. As for her record keeping on content with her image on it .. Umm yah I figure she's got id for herself.

As for the photog that didn't bother getting ID or a release form .. he's up shits creek without a paddle.

Mind you . if her pics are not Explicit .. and just frontal nudity, Id isn't required but consent is .. if he's to display those pictures in a public forum (print, web, etc) or is recieving a monetery amount for them.

the laws are basicly the same, Record keeping, Consent, Author rights ..etc
We just don't have a bush that wants to enforce unrealistic Rules on us.

She is talking about photos from back when she was doing "teen modeling" weekend photographer stuff, over the years.
No, I am currently doing my own pictures. I have never mentionned that I was using old content;I couldnt use content that I have signed a release to other sites, that would be 'stealing': I meant that I was working with the same people I was working with for other contracts. And ofcourse I have model releases for each and every models that shoots with/for me along with ID's. That is a must and would be out of question to not have that.

Im just wondering why you are going all legal on me since the main point of my post was just to ask about the content itself and the niche around it... no sweat ;)

                                                Take care
Finally an answer I was looking for ;) not that other stuff is useless to know, but I believe I got it pretty figured out. As for the customized content with props that viewers send, I DO think it can be quite lucrative. I was thinking of adding polls to know what the viewers are into; getting personal with the viewer and including their opinion is always good.

Lube huh? I LIKE THAT! I'll add it to my list for sure. I'll have a launch-post when the big day comes as well...

Thanks for your opinion, I appreciate it!
