You moved the few servers that you had over to coloc at Verio (Your only provider).

Everyone is always in here complaing about how shitty Likewho is and that your stuff is always down.

To all newbies: Do not be fooled into hosting with such a "fake" company. They will no doubt be out of this business just as fast as they came into it (LIKE 6 months ago!).

Calling people names and using the language you are using towards people doesnt look well when it is coming from someone who runs a respectable company. But that just may be the problem.

I have been reading the posts by LikeWhoa, Inc. for quite sometime and up until this point I have remained quiet, as liars always dig themselves deeper and deeper.

I would like some clarification, from LikeWhoa, Inc., in regards to the following questions:

1. Tukhman, are you a US citizen?
2. Tukhman, are you 18 years old?
3. Are you stating that your equipment was NOT moved from the Level3 facilty to the Verio facility.
4. You stated in the past, and just recently, that you have bandwidth from AT&T.
How come, tracing from AT&T's own route server, I take only Verio to your network?
5. Are you stating that you are NOT deliquent on your invoices with Level3?
6. Are you stating that you were not told to, 'Vacate our Facilty', by your Level3 sales rep?
7. In your initial post you stated:
'Klein, Zelman, Rothermel, & Dichter, LLP., the attorney firm that represents Like Whoa, is currently in discussions with the Level (3) legal department'
Is this because you are considering suing Level3 or is it more like Level3 is filing suit against you?

Exactly my thoughts while working my way through this very interesting read here. People, let this thread stand as an example of what NOT to do when running a business.

What should have happened is, the initial announcement should have been made WITHOUT the last part about defamation, and that's all. The original poster shouldn't have returned at all, and had the professionalism and good grace to let the webmasters work out the "shit" for themselves. As in, "let your satisfyed customers do your talking for you"

I run my sites, webmaster services and content business professionally. I have nothing but satisfied customers, and if anyone is ever DISatisfied I go and make the effort to make them satisfied. Period. There is simply no need to hold a public pissing match over what should have been a simple update, so I'm sorry but my future web projects won't be considering like whoa for hosting. I'll go with Cavecreek or vector or my Canadian fav "execulink.com", you don't see any pissing threads here by any of them do you?

The best advice I can give anyone who runs a big business is: "Let your satisfied customers fight your battles for you"
why? Because nothing kills ugly rumors faster than a satisfied customer.

Now, professionals would comment wisely on what I've said, and likely learn from it too. Let's see what the like whoa guys do. Class or crass, it's your call.

Maybe the poster that suggested a PR rep has a good idea there? The damage here is done, but the wise decision is for you to let the thread die and move forward. You'll never shut anyone up by sparring with them yourself sir. Let it go, and think about hiring a competant rep (Like Tam is to Vector Force) to handle these announcements. You're the boss, and I'm quite sure you have bigger and better things to do with your time than punk-spar on a webmaster forum. Right?

For a nominal fee you could forward all your announcements to someone like me, for example. That person will proofread them, edit them, and announce them for you, and handle any ongoing concerns. Your troubles would be over, period. The thing is, now you've gone and opened the door so that all sorts of allegations are now coming out in the open, and no one wants to get mixed up with a company that may or may not be involved in a bunch of messy lawsuits and legal arguements.

Result: even if you did contact someone like me now, they'd likely pass and say "maybe later when things die down I would consider it."

Think about it.

As I said, I'd really have to see how all this plays out first. If "like whoa" comes out on top and free of some of these rather serious implications, then yes I would consider putting my name behind you for sure. Since taking my business online totally in '99, I've never knowingly referred any of my fellow webmasters to any companies that weren't 100% CD (or Boneprone) approved, and I'm not about to start now. I would need to know a hell of a lot more about the company than I do now before I'll put my name behind it. Sorry, that's just the way I am. I give 100% in anything I do or not at all.
