Don't see a threat.
Personally I do not see a treat. Business is growing on most fronts, magazines, are kind of static, but Content, Paysite, DVD and mobile sales are going forward all the time. Could do with them going forward quicker but then who could not. ;)
These are my reasons for not picking one of the options, try to give yours.
Increased Competition?
I don't see it as a big threat, but some might, competition is good. Makes us all better and delivers a better product.
Low quality.
Those who don't give a good product/service do harm to us all, but as the Net matures they become less of a problem.
Free Porn.
Seriously anyone who can't sell whacking off in comfort and safety for a $1 a day is going about it the wrong way. If you deliver a good experience why would someone want to save $1 a day?
Centralization of the industry. (Big Guys dominating.)
Already happening, but always room for a new guy. Given he has the skills and resources to compete.
Scammers.
The people who think they can get rich quick with a con will always be with us in this industry. But I feel they will have less of an effect in the future.
