"100k years after we could write/read" - Considering that the earliest know written text (on stone from mesopotamia now modern day Iraq) only dates back to between 4 to 3000 BC this is way off mark. Also for most of our history except maybe for the last couple centuries the majority of the world populace was illiterate.

Look at the world around us and tell me where the logic is. If we were a logical species we would be living in a much better world than we are now and those who say the worlds just fine doesn't have the first clue what's going on beyond the boundaries of their own self centered universe.
The only true fact in this age old debate is this:
There is no imperical proof that a God does or does not exist. The only thing that divides the two camps is actually the same thing. Personal Belief. And belief, by any definition of the word, can NOT be called fact with out ironclad proof.
