    $19.99 as opposed to $24.95

Does $19.99 say anything negative about a site (i.e. outaded, low content, or just not up to par) as opposed to a $24.95 priced site?

I have recently upped the price on my site to $24.95 and am seeing 1/2 the amount of sign ups.

In time, does it even out as far rebills?

I dont think that it says anything other than the fact that you want to make more money. You really should offer a trial. 5 for 3 days or something like that.

You might want to rethink the issue past one of price. Make sure the customer understands why your site is worth the price, regardless of what it may be. Look over your tour. People join sites for a particular reason. Are you really selling it?

I have no idea what sites you have, so of course this is very general.

Also, you mention rebills. Only you know how long your average member rebills for. Every site has a different value per member basis, and everyone of them is different. I'm sure you see that with your own sites.

I've had good results with 23.95

Also offer a 34.95 non recurring option and you will be amazed at how many will pay 10 dollars more for no hassle. Works well with no a no trial tour.

I had a trial that was $7.95 and stopping the trial was a good move as I saw a good increase in sign ups.

Actually the industry wide average is pretty consistant based on the programs that I've talked to.

Average is about 30-35% for trials converting to a full

and 40-45% for no trials memberships converting to a 2nd month

I'm sure there are sites that do better but even more that do much worse.

If you saw an increase in sign ups with no trial it was just a freak thing. A trial tour will always convert lower than a no trial tour.

However 7.95 is a good high price for a trial based on my own statistics. That's our default settings for trials in BVCash.

But each affiliate has their own theory so we let them choose in their admin what price point they want to promote. Everyone is happy.

So 19.99 doesn't take away from the sites solvency?

IMO yes based on the definition of solvency.

I found no real difference in conversions between 19.95 or 23.95. With that being said you would make more money at 23.95 thus making your site more solvent.

Price will always come into the equation of buying or not buying. Otherwise the average price would be much higher than what it is.

I agree with your statement though. You have to sell the site, but sell it for as high as you can before your conversions fall too much to compensate.

For example if your membership was $100 a month you would not sell too many no matter how hard you tried to make your customers understand. It's all relative.
