what keeps you from doing it ?

i mean i take about a hr break or so during the day for lunch and spend time w/ the family and then i spend time with the family after 7pm until they sleep and im back on working but pretty much standard biz hrs

I used to. But I do not like to feel restricted.

I work in the AM til roughly noon. Then watch Bourdain, Passport to Europe, then work out or jetski. Nap. The work in the evening a bit.

If there is a photo shoot, that will change things up, but for the most part I prefer to do the above 75% of the time. The other 25% allow for interviews, errands, shoots, and other things that come up.

Or if I am working on getting my balls sucked, salad tossed, or sucking a mean toe. I might work more during the day to have my evening free.

I guess I lack will power, and it seems like since I work at home I'm always distracted all day, with my cats, and my gf, and friends etc etc, then when everyone goes to sleep 10-12 at night is when I can get my peace and quiet and get real work done

I take time with the family from 6 to 10 PM, but I am working all the other hours of the day. I am in bed at about 3 AM and back up and going usually around 7 AM...... those are business hours, right?

I work all day and night. Business hours are no good. When something needs to be fixed or an affiliate needs something, or paysite members need support...you have to be on top of it. Plus different time zones. Yeah, I can deal with people on the east coast fairly early in the day. But my west coast people don't come alive until later in the day.

And then I find myself in conversations with my very valuable european webmasters at 2, 3 and 4 a.m.

I figure I'll sleep when I'm dead lol

I would like to be able to limit myself to specific hours, but there's always something to be done. I'm very creative when it comes to coming up with weird new ways to fit data together so I'm always thinking about the next thing. Too hard to turn off

Pretty much every day: 08:00PST -> 22:00 PST. I need to "leave" earlier.

Yes I do:-) From 9 am to about 11.30 pm with brakes for working out or similar for an hour or two during the day.

I'm trying to get into that habit. I've been getting up earlier when it's quite and concentrating on my most important work first when my mind is clear and I have energy.
