Show Bugbee some love........

Friends,

Some of you may already know, but Stephen Bugbee has been at the UCLA Cardiac Care Center for quite some time now. He's recently been placed on the recipient list and awaits a new heart....

While he waits, the dude is fighting like hell! His spirits are high, he's in the top cardiac unit in the country, his family has been with him the entire time and his nurses are hot!

But, he misses his life. And I for one miss his always smiling and very chill presence out and about. It would mean a great deal to him (as he goes into yet another surgery today) if he knew we were all thinking about him. He's been allowed to have access to his laptop, so reading words of support from his peeps would be an incredible surprise for him when he recovers from today's procedure.....

I believe if we all wish him well and think of him that his recovery will be much faster, so he needs you. We all want to see him back at the shows smiling!

I was just remebering when I really started to get in to the business full time.
I had been going to shows kinda low key and then like 3 or 4 years ago Ray and I came to either the san diego show or santa monica show and that was the first time I met you. I remember it clearly, I was sitting outside drinking some beers and waiting for you to come meet up with us. Then this dude kinda waddles up with shorts on, flip flops and some sort of " go fuck your mom" hat or something funny like that and a tank top, and was like " so who the fuck are you guys" Well ever since that night we had been real tight. You actually made most of the introductions to the industry for us. You hooked us up and got us on our merry way. And we got to meet your girl that night, we all laughed so hard.. I'll just say "pigeon".. Inside joke, so I hope it dosnt make ya pop a stitch or anything.

I spoke to Stephen yesterday before the wheeled him into surgery- his spirits were good and I really feel for him and his family right now- he has been there for a long time and faces some serious surgery.

Please send him your get well wishes, he does miss everybody and appreciates all of the support.

You may be right. But, I know that he knows my intentions are genuine. I think the world of him. And he never told me not to discuss his situation. So, if I have crossed the line...then so be it. At least he knows how much he is loved. This thread was posted out of nothing but sheer love and respect.

And if you were in his shoes, I can't believe you wouldn't appreciate knowing how much you're loved. So please, don't turn this into a typical gfy bitch session. This is much bigger than that.......

I was told a week ago to KEEP THIS QUIET and that BUGBEE would make it public knowledge when he was ready.

Wow, It's like it was yesterday. Good times man, good times. I laughed my ass off just thinking about it. We definitely didn't spend enough time at the last couple shows we were both at. Can't wait to correct that when you are back in action.
