    are you allowed to move UCJ yourself to another server?

    I need to move my site to another server, i can't seem to reach tim for months now. Are you allowed to try and move UCJ yourself or is this not allowed? Also my old server which is like from 1999 is some kind of sun/zeus machine so i'm guessing it is not going to be easy to move it to a new apache quadcore type set up? i have to make this move pretty soon as my host is saying that server needs to be updated asap.

    It will be staying on the same domain, just moving to a new server.

    Only other choice is going to atx and paying $400 for that and risk not liking it so much as i've not used it before.

    Also considering getting stxt , do any other trade scripts work well with that except ucj and atx?

      i know some people have managed to move it.

      but i heard you need similar setup on new machine to do it.

          it will break it if you move it, no support for it either.

          i was in a similar situation 8 months ago when ucj stopped working on two sites and just went over to atx instead.. so far so good

                          Is he officially gone? I remember some months ago, some people looking for him. Still no word, or did he surface and say he was abandoning it?

                                      Nope he never came back. He did sell the board though, not ucj. If i remember correct, it was to his friend Kevin... and no support for ucj
