seriously, what would you actually do if someone elbowed you in the face? would you run? to say that you simply avoid these situations is pretty stupid, when anyone with an IQ over 100 understands that you simply cannot avoid violence 100% of the time. I agree that you can have a certain lifestyle that limits violence greatly, but never 100%.
for the record, I personally avoid fighting like the plague, BUT I will react if someone attacks me. period. that does not make me an ape, nor does it have any reflection on my IQ.
