    "(CBS) John Walker Lindh, the American imprisoned for taking up arms for the Taliban in Afghanistan, was attacked by a fellow inmate and slightly bruised, his lawyer said Thursday."

                          I really want to agree with you, but I just can't.

                          You are right, he is a dipshit kid. But, dipshit or not, he must be held responsible for his actions. His actions were that he fought along side the Taliban. His capture was after September 11th, so it wasn't like he had no clue as to what was happening.

                                          If you guys really think that this guy was a full fledged member of anything besides the dipshit club, then I really think you need to re-think this a bit. He was an American, how involved do you think they'd let him be in anything, regardless of what he told them?

                                          Never trust a traitor. You can be sure that although they might have let him hang out, they didn't let him in on the real stuff. He was just cannon fodder, nothing else.
