Anyone have good stats on surfer screen resolutions?

I'm wondering if anyone has good stats on what screen resolutions surfers are using these days?

Makes a difference in how wide we decide to make our pages right?

That is from the last 5000 visits. I did see that on my non adult site that the surfers had higher res monitors. I guess the poor people are watching porn on the back up computers since a virus would not matter as much LOL. It was a noticable difference too.

800x600 was 10% back in November and has moved to 5-6% now... I think by Xmas it will be 3% or less and be something you completely stop caring about.

800x600 is 15" monitor... They don't buy porn if they cannot afford 17"...

Yeah, 900 - 1000px wide is the standard today, both in mainstream and adult.

I just switched last night from 1024x768 to 1280x1024 and everything looks tiny....but I may keep it because it's could be more productive for me.

It got me to thinking though that maybe most surfers have upgraded from 1024 also.

So would most of you say that making a page 1000px wide would be pretty safe? Only ppl with really old monitors would have to scroll sideways?
I'm concerned because from what I can tell pages like yahoo.com and msn.com are still alot more narrow than that.
