                                              Why would any one promote or resell sobe? After all the problems in the past and present. I don't get it! I bet ya its for a fast buck, but look at all the drama.

                                              To me, and I am probally wrong here, but it seems like sobe couldnt make sell so he hired or paid some one to promote his content and the unlucky guy just happends to be a good guy on GFY looking for a fast buck and not thinking of the long term effects. Kinda sad in a way.

                                              But on the other side. Wouldn't you make sure that your selling only the ones content. Not stolen content or even content that looks the same?

                                              Just sounds fishy to me. Sad for all the honest content producers that has to go through this, but at the same time. Maybe it helps out by finding there own content? Not sure but still fishy in my eyes.

                                                                  Adonthenet is a good guy and i've known him for a long time.... he would never do something like this intentionally.... sobe is to blame. I'm also sure that if you would have approached adonthenet he would have stopped selling the content immediately.

Sobe's content is bad, real bad, everything from lighting, camera angles, quality of models, its all very amateurish with Sobe. So if you find Sobe trying to sell you some quality content, you can be assured its not his to sell.

                                                                                                      unfortunately, whatever you all WANT to see happen here isn't the way the law is laid out....whether Joe knows Sobe or not, Adonthenet was the one selling the content, and according the law, he is the one in the trouble here...Thank god Joe is a nice enough guy and this will probably all be worked out between adonthenet and joe...but if someone handed you 100 car stereos to sell for 20% of the profits and the police found out they were stolen, the dude that gave them to you wouldn't get in trouble, you would....and trust me, that is how it works, I have been in that scenario first hand

                                                                                                              But, if you look closely - Joe didn't accuse him of STEALING the content - just of "selling stolen content"...I think that's a fair statement, and the seller needs to work it our with the "person who gave him the wrong rights".

                                                                                                              This being on the board is GOOD so some of us don't buy it, just to end up with a problem from Joe down the road....I was VERY close to doing just that!

Sounds like SoBe sold him resale rights. Yes we know half the stuff or more is yours Joe, and SoBe knows it too. He just up to his old tricks again. It's a real fuckin' shame the few scammers in this biz, I'm dealing with something right now myself. He'll never stop selling the content until someone sues him and it's settled. And that hasn't and probably won't happen. I would say cool, no problem bringing it up here that SoBe is an asshat, but you should probably let it go even though it boils your blood. You've built a succesful business, you have probably the largest selection of self-produced content on the net, and don't need to look back anymore at this terrible chapter of content drama. Adonthenet probably got duped, so it's not his fault although I would hope he would do the right thing and stop selling your stuff, go to SoBe directly and try to get his money back on those that are in dispute. That probably won't happen, but Adonthenet can come back and tell us what SoBe said, so we can bash him again for another year and get his latest screename "wonderman" banned.

SoBeGirl had adonthenet come in and ask to resell some content from the SoBeGirl Collection. Adonthenet paid for this right. Adonthenet on the net asked for his money back and he got it back quickly. SoBeGirl has the rights to sell each and every content set in the SoBeGirl collection. Any set on SoBeGirl was either produced by us in house or purchased outright from the producer. AMA is just one of those producers who sold us content. The problem is that he got upset when we actually started making more money with it than he does. That is why he acts so irrationally. This content was purchased from AMA more than 4 years ago. Those of us in this business have seen this issue before. This time though Joe may have a point as I was never specifically given the right to transer the resale rights that he sold to me. There for adonthenet has his money back and will no longer resell sobegirl content. Now Back to business.
