delayed till mid -end aug here in US , ATT has em but they havent "certified" em yet....

Rogers, T-Mobile Germany, AT&T, VodafoneUK, and O2 dates leaked

Everyone who’s been reporting July 25th as the release date for the Bold from Rogers are quickly waking up this morning to find out — no Bold(ness) in Canada today!

But BlackBerryNews.com has obtained information on the worldwide Bold launch which you can depend, from five major carriers. Read on.


July 29 - Rogers

August 1 - Vodafone UK


August 4 - T-Mobile Germany


September 1 or later - AT&T


In September - O2

The Rogers’ date is firm, as well as the TMo Germany release on August 4th.

The September 1 date for AT&T has been targeted, but could fall slightly later as AT&T gets their training act together. Either way, I would expect at least the middle of September as AT&T is currently running an August contest in which the winner gets a 9000.

Vodafone UK has been rumored in this August 1 timeframe, although execs with the carrier will only say officially before November 1.

And it appears the latest OS release now for the Bold is 4.6.0.97 (rel. 212).

damn it, talked to a High up Blackberry employee at the airport 2 weeks ago and he assured me the Bold would be out to day

5 weeks to go for AT&T.

I am on the same boat JFK, I was looking forward to this day for a while now... but it looks like it will be delayed until at least August. Word is there will also be an "iphone killer" coming out code named the "Thunder" and more recently the "Storm", in September.

My old BB went for a shit a few weeks ago, so I was waiting patiently till today to replace it with something new. Fucked again, back to the standby pearl
