Since I am a BP family member, I must agree. Give it to him HOWEVER I must also agree with HTB, rewrite the rules so that before you can get a DVD player, you need to have posted "XX" amount of times.
example: you can get your t-shirt at 100 posts.
You can become eligible for the DVD player at 250 posts.
You can become BoneProne at 5000 posts.
And BoneProne will reset his posts at 6000 posts.

Does not seem to be any question as to whether or not he deserves the player under the current rules. Now, if you want to make a rules change that is fair and makes sense, try this on for size. Instead of the longest by Sunday night, or saying you have to be a regular poster to win, make it the thread that has the most individuals respond to it.
I thought I would count how many posts had been made by 10/7, but quit on 10/3 when it had 80+ responses, however, I could not help but notice that these were all made by: boneprone, dank, kimmy, titmowse(1), lensman(2), amp, Royaltee_Gee, analhobbit, tucks, MikeBradley(1), hooper(1), Hot Tropical Babes(1), Bake(1),ammo(1) and that is just most of 2 pages. This is not counting replies made by originator of thread, so 7 people made 8 posts, and 6 people made 70+ replies.
I think this is where your problem lies.
