FACT. Americans aren't religious at all. We may be liars but we're not religious. I don't know a single person that has been to church in 20 years and I live in the South. The only Americans I have met that claim to believe in a god only say that to keep their parents happy. Census results? Lies. We're a Godless people. Trust me. People here don't pray anymore and we think "The Commandments" were a group of black guys that played music in the 70's. The only thing worshipped on Sundays in America is the NFL. You want religion? How about 40 million people celebrating touchdowns every Sunday (Except Bengals fans).

Compared to other western countries it is.
Even if it isn't as high as statistics point to - why the need to lie on anonymous surveys? it's not like being put on the spot in public.. the fact that so many are doing so should point to the large christian influence on US culture.
