The only thing we do is defend democracy...the right for people to choose. No one in those god-forsaken hellholes has ever had a choice.
Think about all the governments in that whole area loosely defined as the Middle East. Egypt 3 leaders since the 50's. Syria 2 leaers (father and son) for the last 40 years. Jordan 2 leaders (father and son) for the last 50+ years. Saudi Arabia..same ruling family forever. All those pissant little countries have never had an election ever (that wasn't pre-arranged). These ignorant people have no freedom, no money, no idea of what it means to choose your own destiny. All they know is what's forced to them by the mullah's to keep them in control. Afghanistan? hah...royal edict: NO INTERNET. Why? they claim it doesn't represent Muslim Ideals. Of course the taliban whacko's have their own websites. It's OK for them, just not the general population cause they might learn that the rest of the world sees them as primitives on the fringe of society. Freedom of choice...it's what this country was built on, it's what makes us great, and it's what's going to allow us to pound the piss out of those that would try to take those freedoms from us.
