    Update on hacking situation on one of our virtual Server

    First of all, we assure you that he only reason we were not here sooner is that we are working to get the problem resolved.

    Turks came in thru an unprotected script, then manage to replace the index pages across the server ( like if they had root ) including the backup drive.
    HTML pages can be re-uploaded and your site will be back. PHP is still causing problems.

    We are seriously considering putting in a new scsi drive that already has a fresh OS.
    Data, aside from the index pages , is all good to be copied back.

    But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

      feel for you Pierre, it's a nightmare of cleanup as it is, your job must be extra stressful

      I was getting "throw things around the room" pissed off as I was going through things, senseless stupidity it is

      thanks for going the extra mile in communicating with us and doing your best in fixing the issues (and thanks for salvaging the files that you did)
