Well hair band reunions will sure look a bit weird cause they didn't only do a lot of dope but also wore a lot of makeup.
Osbourne with Sabbath put on a great show in 2005, Ronnie James Dio, Johnny Winter all dudes either close or in their sixties and the shows were killing it.

I was going to say Van Halen (inside joke), but I've got to second the motion that Britney Spears should hang it up.
And there is more to retirement in the arts than just quiting. In music, there's producing, mentoring, teaching, acting, voiceovers, and sound tracks.
Even Foteus/J.G. Thrillwell is doing the soundtracks for Venture Bros. on Adult Swim.
Weird Al still puts out an album or two, but I've heard he does a lot of stuff behind the scenes and is actually quite productive despite his absence from the stage.
