Thinly slice off the blade portion off of a few razor blades using a dremel. Then apply them sharp side out at slight angles to your caps using super glue. Then just remember to use a wrench when you decide to take them off or at least some thick leather gloves. Fairly sure they will only attempt to steal them one more time.
