blindlinks, rawlikesushi, yeah those were the days. There was a time when I propped up every tgp on the net with those 2 programs.

Now they've all been forced to push dialers and free paysites, boy times have changed

I used to push craptraffic and two other blind programs... One of them was with Standard Internet Corp... or something spelled SIC -- I dunno... I didn't do as well with Raw Like Sushi... from what I remember the rules were you had to use one of the approved buttons or banners, right?

Anyway I saw the light one day on the Condom Project when someone said that blind programs are a waste of your money -- you can code it all yourself, target the traffic better, and keep the money for yourself...

That was about the time though that I started kicking ass -- I had all this traffic and couldn't make any money with it -- those blind programs sure made it easy... I had no idea what converting traffic meant then... I could barely do 1:2000 -- it was horrible. after I left the blind programs was about the time I found out about Amateur Pages... Woohoo!

It's not about TGP players it's the way you posted that first post.

Now let's set a few things straight:

1 In the adult bizz TGP owners are a drop in the barrel. They have a lot of (crap) traffic and surely are NOT big players.

The big players are the ones who convert traffic not just burn bandwidth period.

2 That VIP list is a laugh. I know some of the people on it and most of em are realy nice people but NOT big players.

Now for all newbies out there:

Being a big shot in the adult biz is not about overstressed counters due to a traffic overload it's about bank accounts and how much is on them.

Real bigshots are NOT bragging about their accomplishments they are to busy securing even more $$$.

Jealousy has nothing to do with this thread in fact the only reason I posted in here was to make sure nembies know that this is notthe way it works, and certainly not the way REAL BIG PLAYERS behave.

So to sum it up for all newbies that read this:

The ones on that VIp list are notthe big players in the adult bizz today so please ignore the first post in this thread. I'm sure that sleazyDream character doesn't know any better but that is his loss not ours or yours.

Well, for one thing, "WE" know that there are other parties, thanks. Your statement should almost include a pat on the head for all the poor newbies you're talking down to.

Feel free to talk to any of the included guests on the convention floor or at any of the other awesome parties and such on those convention days or any other time.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to say that, are you the spokesperson for all of porn? Sounds like you think you are. Here's a wee bit of advice: I see where some webmasters get started, they scratch and claw for hits until they make some friends and get some trades, then they get over 10k per day one day and they start thinking they're good. They keep at it and after a while they get 20k, 30k then 40k per day and they think they're really good. Then one day they're getting 100k, 200, or even 400k per day and SOME OF THEM think they're now somehow a better or more important person than everyone else. They snub their noses at the little guys, they turn away small trades because they only deal in high volume shit traffic, and they forget what it was like when they were a newbie.

I pity guys with this type of attitude. You are speaking to a lot of webmasters here, and some of us have a hell of a lot more going on than running a TGP. The fact that instead of just telling the board about your party you decided to come off like an elitist schmuck says alot about you. And dude, I'd tell you this even if I was your close friend, which I'm not. Am I pissed that you didn't invite me? Not hardly, it's about the delivery, not the message itself.

Why are you soo offended? I didn't intend to piss you off? I'm holding this dinner and show evening to help the people who have helped me. There are a few others out there that have helped me to get where i am that I don't know, and this message board was used as a venue to get the word out to them. It worked too, as I found several. If you are not in the TGP business then this isn't your crowd. If your a TGP submitter then you are someone who TGPs depend on but this event isn't for submitters. I want to keep this event reasonably small - they are dozens of other parties at vegas with crowds of people attending that will let anyone come. Why not go to one of them? May I also I suggest maybe you hold you own dinner and pay for it all (like I do for my guests).

Sleazy... it wasn't the fact that you're holding an event/gathering/whatever for people you wanna schmooze... it's the fact that you totally put on the "I'm fuckin' better than you'll ever be" attitude towards everyone who you deem unworthy of attendance.
