I just dont understand why these companies keep giving away money to random surfers who will never ever send you one hit.

I said it so many times before: Give away webmaster stuff like traffic, gallery spots, designs, whatever.

that's not a bad idea, but even with lots of surfers in the threads it still helps their overall promotion...

How many contest sponsors payout in the end. I haven't been paid well over $1K and by some names you'd recognize. If I don't get that $100 from a sponsor that is sending me more than that monthly, the urge to go public with it is not high. So I just let it pass.

They don`t give random money for nothing. I would call it rather hiring "surfers" to bump their thread so ppl from GFY can see their news.

I use my winnings to buy traffic... I have made many sales with most of sponsors who run contest...so it's not all just pure surfers.

so just cause someone has a low post count? i know about 4-5 people on here that have less than 100 posts in 4 years on here, and push over a million uniques of traffic. some people dont have time for the board.
