    Just to keep it light in here...

    For newbies that don't know all the technical terms, I'll repost a bit from my handy "newbie dictionary".

    If getting laid was like selling memberships to pornsites....

    Making a trial sale = she gives you a hand job
    Making a full sale = getting laid
    Upsell = You get to use the poop chute too
    Getting a cross sell = she lets your friend fuck her too, now he owes you a 3some with his chick

                I wouldn't normally, he initiated it though. He brought it to the boards before speaking to me over icq. It was already out there and not by me.

                Without question, I enjoy the various threads regarding PPS, Revshare, cross sales, etc. I enjoy Airek's opinions, Dave's opinions, Steve, etc.

                However, these guys tend to debate without any real agenda. If you start a thread whereas you hope to persuade potential affiliates to stop promoting programs due to cross sales and you brand them as having malicious billing systems, then you yourself should be prepared to come under the microscope.

                As I stated before, I have sent more traffic to rev share than PPS. I also enjoy the debates; I find them informative.

                The point of this is:

                1) NOFX does want to send to PPS programs that have cross sales. And he can't follow the term of service when he does. Spamming myspace is not "caring about the surfers."

                2) All billing models are subject to criticism. Using another's billing model as fuel for your marketing propaganda is wrong. But if you intend to market this way, please be prepared for threads such as this one.

                All's fair IMO. This thread was simply a reality check.

                                                    Whoa! Keep me out of this please. I'm not sure you understand the side of the fence that I am on. Of course I'm not against Weg or anything. I have nothing but great memories working with them for almost 4 years.

                                                    I was the first of your list that worked for WEG when they were only known as Join4free. I left approximately when the paysites were finished and we were doing Join4free Gold and then by the time we evolved into Wegcash, I moved forward with other things. G3X was developed later on.. and then Adult alchemy.

                                                    I've absorbed alot of info, numbers, business practices from many corners of this industry and I CHOSE to get cozy here at XXXRewards. In fact, I turned down probably 20 job offers and starved for 4 months to ensure that I could get comfy promoting the type of sites and program that I think will ultimately outlive all other programs.

                                                    There is nothing wrong with xsells, consoles, optin emails blah blah blah. Each company does what works for them for what they think will make them the most money. That's not my business or my problem.

                                                    My personal comfort and beliefs hold strong here on the side of the fence where quality content collections and spoiling members comes first... Patience and persistance has pulled the Karups crew where they are, and there is only room for even more growth.

                                                                        90% of the time revshare programs will make u less money than PPS programs
                                                                        in some rare cases revshare program might make u 10% more than a PPS program, but your earnings will be spread out over many many months.

                                                                                    Cross sells have been around for years. If they were causing so many problems the chargeback issues would be huge and ergo any company that wanted to remain in business would have elimated them a long time ago.

                                                                                    Follow the dots.....they are earning money for the program, the affiliate and the surfer isn't pissed or they would charge back.

                                                                                    I love revshare. Revshare does great on niche sites and on single girl sites as you can make a LOT of money on recurring for niche and solo girls. But PPS with high payouts is my choice for a "mega" program.
