    So if I only use content made in the 80s I dont need 2257 records?

    Is that right?
    This is all mature content so theres no teens anyways, but overall if I use content made in 1994 or earlier then I dont need to provide records, right?

        Correct. The 2257 law was passed in 1995. Anything produced before that is considered exempt.

          i think its prior to July 3rd, 1995
          you still need licenced content though, you cant just scan old skin mags...

                      It's funny everyone thinking you don't need 2257 if the content is older than the law... Consider this.. How are you going to prove it?? It's another fucked up part of 2257 that in order to be able to prove that 2257 doesn't apply, you need some documentation and record keeping that's pretty much required for the content it does apply to.

                        exactly, and how can u prove the model is not under 18?

                        then there is that copyright infringement issue if you can't prove the license and the content owner comes after you...
