Exciter.com - About To Be Sold

Six years after i initially tried to sell the thing on GFY and there's just one day left on the auction. It's a little sad now as the domain did manage to acquire a reputation that is up there with "SexyLadies" and a few other heavily touted domains.

It's a very decent bid but im now thinking it was better to have the domain and torment people with it, then make a big chunk of cash.

Check the sig for the auction info - 1 day until i will finally be liberated.

            Isn't "excite" a trademark of excite.com ?
That would put some serious limits on what you can use exciter.com for!
You are lucky someone placed a bid on it, even more lucky if you manage to get paid and keep the money

Not at all, i had previously rejected an offer of just under £20k about a year ago. Exciter is a word with a dictionary definition and is used generically to describe sex toy products but also has other generic uses in audio, electrical generators and electrical components.

It does appear to be a genuine offer as negotiations were lengthy but ill find out soon enough either way.
