Vista has been adopted wholeheartedly by some of my top financial clients. These are multinational companies with strict standards in terms of reliability and security.
Vista is not shit and I told ya already, your problem is a driver or a hardware issue. My suggestion is to run the
Vista Upgrade Advisor and it will give you an idea of what is causing the problem. Another thing. Did you load the chipset drivers? And check for updated drivers for the other devices in that machine? And what Graphic card are you running in that anyway?
Your problem is probably a simple one.

See post number 81. I'm far from an idiot in such matters and trust me the only thing laughable is how so many persons have jumped on the "Vista sucks" bandwagon without knowing exactly what they are talking about. And like I said in that post, even some of the top techs in the industry have fallen victim to this error in judgment, because they simply forgot to use the HCL and the SCL.
Any tech who disses Vista has to go back to basics and get the chip of "
I just know my shit without RTFM" off of their shoulder.
Look carefully at the changes Microsoft made in Vista and appreciate that they finally made that tough step of locking down their software and raising the standards for drivers and software. Microsoft didn't make Vista as proprietary as Apple, but they clearly took a big risk of moving in that more concentrated direction.
Again, crappy/outdated/incompatible hardware, software and drivers will mess up Vista. At least Microsoft haven't gone as far as Apple and completely lock down the ability to install outdated software/hardware. Apple users just suck it up and thus their stuff works consistently.
Hopefully you guys who are dissing Vista can understand what Microsoft did with that OS a bit better.
