I was thinking about this because last week I went to this posh wedding and my GF was worked up about what I would tell people I´m doing...
I mean there´s just some occasions where the words ´Oh, I´m an online pimp´ or ´Oh, I´m in to porn, as in, like really into porn, I mean I make money selling imagery of shaved pussy etc.´ just won´t cut the deal.

For these occasions, I am in to ´dedicated user videoconferencing´ and on occasion a ´web traffic analist´.

So what the fuck do you do?

Ive always told the ppl around me what I was doing from the beginning. For some reason, the only time I dont bother giving people details is when it is people I dont know or that I know I wont see anymore. I just dont wanna get into the whole explanation of it, it can be a hassle; especially if you're talking to some dude who has obvious interest in you and is a complete moron. (being a chick, that is)

So far nobody ever judged me for what I was doing because they could tell I had a head on my shoulders and had my stuff pretty well figured out. The rest I dont think is worth caring about what they think, unless it would put you in a trully embarrassing situation.

I find when you're out and about, chatting up girls and so forth, telling them you work in porn sparks their interest. They act like they think it's gross, but there they are, standing around and asking questions. Ok, to people I don't really know I say I'm CEO and president of my own company, yea I guess that's a bit pretentious since I work from home and have no employees, but it sounds pretty damn good. I love saying it.

All my close friends know what I do. They don't look down on me, they are envious because I make more than they do plus I don't have a boss. Even my religious friend, who's not like super religious cause she's really vain/superficial (that's why we probably get along) and dresses like a tramp is envious too, she is always saying she wishes she could stay home and make a lot of money but doesn't want to sell porn. I told her you don't HAVE to sell porn there's mainstream too but she can't sit in front of the pc all day...

Most people I know (girls and guys) cannot sit in front of the pc all day and are not dedicated enough to make it happen.
