        Some of you really should be politicians....

        rather than say "it's unfair, I shouldn't be taxed"... you say "it isn't fair, some people should be taxed more."

        It's a very good political opinion that does well in government today.

                            No, what they're doing is supplementing the income of those families so they don't live in adverse poverty and turn to a life of crime to survive. And all property owners are taxed to support schools for the same reason. An educated society is a successful society benefitting all, whether you are directly responsible for its growth or not.

                            Yes, it IS stupid for people who can't afford the costs associated with raising children to pump out one a year but that's not the kids' fault, is it?

                            What they should really be doing is putting more of these resources into prevention. Teach teenagers from an early age about sex, birth control, and the REAL result. Have a 'scared straight' type of program that demonstrated in harsh reality what raising children without money is really like.

                                            I would like to state I know that a thread on GFY means shit. It was just put up as a point of discussion/debate to have.

                                            The other issue I posted which was seemingly passed over and that is I would have a lot less issue with the property tax for schools and such if and a big if, the tax money for schools was attached to a child and they could pick the school they wanted to attend (end of school zoning) and the money follows them.

                                                        Children are the future. Without them there would be no future and the children today will be paying taxes when we retire. Someone has to have children.

                                                        Now I don't think that tax credits should keep increasing when someone has 10 kids and I certainly think there needs to be a limit welfare increases but without children how in the fuck do you think the world will continue?
