Thats pretty fast. Does the browsing software remove all the graphics and just give you a basic text format or can you see all the banners. Just curious as I have never seen the web on a pda but I have seen it on a cellphone and that only downloaded text.Comment

It's your choice, no graphics or compressed graphics. I have mine on "fit graphics to screen".

I've considered this also...
Seems like a very cool thing to do for a webmaster since 99% of my work just involves text editing of html, perl, php, blah... file transfers and web browsing. That's it.
On a rare occassion I do photoshop work but I suppose eventually I could pay someone to do my graphics shit for the convenience of having such a tiny machine to do all my work on. Why do I need a big clunky machine to edit text files...
In another year or two the wireless connections will be fast enough -- I'll be nomadic and join the Boneprone World Tour

Yeah I use a PDA sometimes , when I'm out and about.
I have a caasieopia - it's pretty quick and it's just really convenient...
I always carry it in my handbag that way if I go out and stay out a bit longer than i thought, or for some reason end up outta town i can still check my emails and post on boards!!

I used to have Ricochet before they went out of biz... 128k up and down... real sweet and reliable... it hooked up to a USB port and i'm pretty sure there were PDA's that worked with Ricoshit...
I think the next best thing now is Aircard...???? too bad it's so damn expensive...

I dont use it to post on boards but my Palm can get realy handy to ceep me on ICQ when I get in that lazy mood and just sitt back to watch some good ol movie on my comp.
