Mezzanine is and always will be a masterpiece.
I can listen to that album (and I love to fuck to it), 100 times back to back and never tire of it.
I agree, after Mezzanine, it's been downhill. Though the soundtrack they did for that Jet Lee movie was pretty cool. Danny The Dog or whatever it was called.Comment

The new album grows on you. I was disappointed at first (well actually I more like pissed off) but I've been getting into it more lately.
But like A1rek said, Portishead, Massive Attack and Esthero are acts that will always get the benefit of the doubt from me.
There's a new Tricky out too, I don't know whether to say it's good or not yet. But he's been so hit or miss since the 90's that I am not listening with any expectations.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
