Work vs. Play
Yes. My work is such that it ebbs and flows, but when I get busy, I can stay busy for weeks with no days off. In theory, I love working for myself, but sometimes I miss working for someone else - my boss is a bitch!
Loving what I do for a living sounds nice, but it can be a mixed blessing.
My work is so entwined in my personal life, it's hard for me to decide what is work and what is play. I go to fetish events around the country and around the world, and, although I hardly ever plan anything, I usually end up getting busy with things... modeling for friends that are designers or photographers, doing event photography for a friend's magazine, etc. I find that everyone around me thinks I am constantly on vacation, and I run around thinking, "God, I need a break - must get sleep, must turn off cell phone."
In less than two days, I am taking my first non-work related trip of the year... going to the Bahamas for a week!
Of course, I'll probably bring my laptop... pffft! >_<Comment

I work every day. Hard. I get calls from people, special content, and I do it. Then, at night, I listen for the sounds of MSN, ICQ, or Yahoo, and I talk with my clients. I have my cell on 24 7. Sleep? What is that? Then I have to put up with the personal problems that this line of work implies... Sorry about the rant... My GF just got on my ass, and said the same thing...
