    CleanTGP.org - Better to be honest or not say?

    Basically, upon everyone's advice, i've decided to change the alternative format for my site (http://www.cleantgp.org) to the more traditional TGP format (i.e. a load of thumbnails that link to my affiliate's FHGs).

    At the moment, i say on the site that i only make money through donations - but seeing as the large images actually link to an affiliate account, and i don't actually have any channels for people to donate via (the ePassporte option says "Coming soon"), would it be better to be honest and say that i make money by people clicking through to the affiliate and signing up with them, and removing the donate feature from my site, or leaving the donate feature there and not telling people?

    What are your opinions?

          Leave it as it is. You still have no real "advertisements" on the site, and porn surfers really could care less about honesty as long as they get porn

              I've decided to relaunch the site anyway, as i've spent far too many damn hours coding myself a nice new SQL-powered TGP system to just piss it all away.

              So there you go, http://www.cleantgp.org - what do you all think of the new version?

                      After a few hours of having fucked up the site completely, i've got it back. And what could be better than that? I've taken advantage of the CSV dumps that NATS affiliates sponsors provide and written myself a script in PHP to do all the hardwork for me - which means the script goes to the site, gets the thumbnail, downloads it to my site (after an epic struggle with DreamHosts restrictions), resizes it and adds the gallery to the SQL database.

                      How fucking happy am i!

                                          you have horizontal thumbs, but you show them as a vertical,
                                          I'm not sure that it's possible to make money from this site until it will be fixed!

                                          try to change width and height values in your html...

                                                          They aren't horizontal - it's just the way that the PHP resize function i wrote resizes them to be 110 * 150 pixels that makes them look so distorted. As for the pop-up, i'm going to get the counter changed to stop that from happening.

                                                          It probably does though, as you say, "looks like crap".

                                                              Updated the site so that the thumbs don't look distorted, but consequently the thumbs are now smaller in size - what are your opinions?

                                                                      You should link some paysites on your mainsite... my experience throughout many years, is 80% sales from paysitelinks on mainsite and 20% sales from galleries

                                                                          I can't - otherwise that'd be advertising and so would go against the whole idea of a clean TGP. Thanks for the idea though.
