Phone surveys - how do you deal with them?

Many of them are for marketing research. They wont take data from another marketer, so tell them you are in marketing and advertising yourself. Normally they remove you from their list.

I get so many junk calls... if I don't recognize the number on Caller ID I let the answering machine catch it.

i actually tell them im conducting a survey myself and do whats been mentionmed before and tie up the phone line and play loud music

I just put them on hold, play some music for them and after 10 minutes I hang up and they are gone and won't call again. Cool thing is... if I don't hang up they can't call anyone else before I hang up. They don't wanna try that again.

then i pipe up with

do ya fuck on first dates, does ya dad own a brewery, can i feel ya tits or will your show em to me , do ya give head very often

Sometimes I tell them I am busy. Other times I may be bored and I give them fucked up answers. Then occassionally I just take them honestly.

I remember just enough Spanish from high school, that I can spout out a couple of lines - although I have no idea what I am saying. I do it very quickly and make it sound like a question. Then I repeat it, sounding like I am getting angry. They never call back.

i have a sales background and so i know how much cold calling sucks, so instead of being mean i just say no thank you and hang up...
