So some asshole buys something from me on Ebay. As soon as he pays he starts bombarding me with e-mails ?is it send?, ?can I have tracking number? , ?is it in the mail so I replied to him that it will be sent this weekend. So I get back home from weekend and find note from paypal that he opened fraud complaint on me!!! 6 days after auctions? end!!! Oh in comments he wrote that he was afraid that he became victim of internet fraud!!! Oh, and get this, the total for item with shipping was $10.50

That's why I quit selling on eBay about 1 1/2 years ago. Just not worth it as a seller on there anymore if you are trying to make decent money. Spend most of your time dealing with stupid customer service email questions like "Did you ship my item, can I have a tracking number, is the item in good condition, ect ect.

I used to sell a lot of stuff on ebay. 99% of the people seemed cool but there were 2 that really pissed me of. One bought a computer from me. I shiped it and when he gets it he says it won't work. I suggest a few things, he tries some stuff and says that none of it helped and it is still dead. So he sends it back. I open it up, plug the power cable from the power supply to the motherboard (which he had unplugged) and it works find. But now there is a huge dent on it. I email him that it works fine and that if he changed his mind he could have just said so, he didn't need to take a hammer to it and tell me that it doesn't work. He never did reply. I had another woman ask so many annoying questions on an item before she bid (and a cheap item too) that I could just feel I would regret selling it to her so I finally told her that felt she would be unhappy with the item and please not to bid on it. She actually reported me to ebay saying I was discriminating against her. Ebay looked at all the email I got from her and said I did the right thing.Comment

I have had a lot of guitars that I have put on there through the years and quit doing it because of shit like that. I had one I put up there, and I always specify US Bidders Only because it is a lot less hassel, and with 4 hours left a guy from the UK who registered that day ended up being the high bidder because I couldn't cancel his bid. He tried to pull the Money Order for so much more and send him the difference scam on me and I told him to fuck off. I ended up having to pay the $35 fees because ebay didn't do shit. Selling sub $30 items is one of the worst things to do on ebay. I love to see the scathing reviews people place in the feedback. Then when I see the item is $1, I am positive these peole are insane.

According to the PayPal user agreement, you have 7 days in which to ship out the item, once it's paid through PayPal. If he was able to file a complaint 6 days after EOA, then something is wrong with this picture. Many buyer's get burned on eBay as do many seller's. Why would you wait to ship his package, just because you were waiting for payment on 3 other's? Do you live miles away from the post office and didn't want to make multiple trips?
