There is a reason that pop up consoles are used by all the sites doing thousands of joins a day. They work.
With that said you should look into offering both the console and the non console version and letting your affiliates choose, with different pay rates for each, of course.

<----- "hey thats me", just got in and had a chance to see this crazy thread. kimmy hit it on the head. personally i do not like consoles (i hate them) and dont think that i ever will (extra "whatever $$$"). the guys that want the most for there money can send to a console free page and work together with me coverting THEIR traffic. also i can offer a tour with exits, i am thinking of a 60% payout as well with this, so you could send me the optional tour traffic. i could just want to make money with exits and not on FTVGirls. in this sense i feel that i would be screwing my webmasters.
if you like our content and you want to promote you will make money. i dont want to take away your hard earned traffic with consoles. at the most we will trade in our members video/picture galleries with other paysites and cancelled email promotions.
