It's just javascript and text manipulation. Yea, XHR is a pretty cool function, but come on... it's been around for years, was a "hidden" feature in IE and is now, somehow, an overhyped, mythical, amazing method that should have been implemented years ago.Your post count means nothing.Comment

I've seen it slow down more sites than it's helped speed up. A couple, including Yahoo's new mail causes a shutdown on my PC. Waaay overhyped IMHO.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
