Are you using the beta 2 PREVIEW that came out a few months back? That wasn't made for regular people. It was made for developers. Have you installed the beta 2 that was made for the general public. That one came out less than a month ago. Also remember this is a BETA. It's not suposed to be prefect. If you have issues go send feedback to microsoft so they can fix them. that's what the beta period is for. I'm quite positive if you installed the FireFox 2.0 beta you'd get some issues with that too. Even the Opera 9.0 beta has issues. ALL betas do.

Actually I find the tabs easier to use than FF because I hated using them with FF.

        strange that you liked it.

developers.. do you mean like programmers and website developers .. which is what i am

beta no beta.. all old websites should load as normal..its called backward compatibility.. they should of just added more functions.. more options.. not make it less flexible for website developers.. and programmers.

the things that made me hate it the most was related to developing sites that would work with it.

Do you not understand BETA? If a website doesn't work isn't it up to that website to make sure it does? If I make a website with crappy coding is it MS fault that the site doesn't work in IE7 or mine?

Like I said I'm sure there are issues, it's a beta. Ther were issue with the beta 2 preview. Someof those got fixed. The ones now will get fixed. Let MS know about them. there is probally going to be a beta 3 before the final version is released.

And no it's not perfect. I don't like I can't remove teier search thingy. I use Google toolbar and yes I can use Google searc with thier search box, but it doesn't have mnay feature of the Google toolbar, especially the new beta one.

The overwhelming majority of people are not going to switch. I've used FF I simply do not like it. I gave it more than a fair shot. FF is not God's gift to web browsers. I'm sure when FF 2.0 finally comes out I'll download it and try it, but it will have to really knock my socks off to get me to switch.

I use it and there are some things I don't like about it. But there are things I do like about it.

So the answer is I use IE7 and Firefox. Depends on what I'm doing.

Well, I guess it depends on personal preference. I am using IE 7 Beta 2 and loving it. Basically the only thing I like about firefox is the tabs but I am happy to rid firefox because it crashes on me so darn often and firefox is such a memory hog. IE 7 seems pretty stable and works with all the sites that I need to visit.

You can't have IE 6 and IE7 on your computer at the same time. that might explain it.

It's called ANTI-VIRUS and FIREWALL protection. I like the anti-phising tool IE7 provides. Something that neither the current version of FF or FF 2.0 provides.

I'm using IE7 atm, I have to say I love it. I actually prefer it over firefox.
Browsing is just so much faster, and they're finally got tabbed browsing.

I couldn't stand tabed browsing when I tried FF. I didn't get why people liked it. Seemed more of a pain to me. With IE7 I finally get it. Don't how IEs tabbed browsing is different but it sure is simpler.
