It's a pity to do away with the SE advantage that real comments provide. Spam Karma, Bad Behavior and a bunch of others will all but eliminate comment spam and if they are not enough, you can also unlink the author's name and eliminate linking from comments.
Right now I'm waiting for feedback from iacash, radicalcash, sapphiccash and getcybercash as to why I started getting lol*ta spam this afternoon to email addresses which are unique to each of them. Oh wait, I won't be getting a response from getcybercash: the email address given in their webmaster area doesn't exist...Comment
