MojoHost Network Expands to 60+ Gigabit
Hello Everyone,
I am excited to announce our recently completed network expansion to 60+ gigabit of connectivity across the following seven global networks:
Savvis
Global Crossing
WV Fiber
Telecom Italia
Hurricane Electric
TeliaSonera
Tata Communications
Network performance at MojoHost is enhanced beyond the competition with our investment and use of the Internap Flow Control Platform. Based on its unique capability to measure the characteristics of end-to-end, real-time Internet traffic, the FCP solution improves network performance up to 50% on average by:
* Automatically routing traffic around major network outages
* Managing the network issues such as IP network brownouts and slowdowns
* Proactively identifying the best performing path for your traffic at all times
Our mature network design utilizes best practices by dividing carrier connections across two Cisco Catalyst 6500s, each featuring the latest generation of Supervisor Module, 1G and 10G line cards. All client servers have gigabit connectivity to a distribution switch which is directly connected and multi-homed to both Catalyst 6500s. Based on current traffic levels this proper planning allows for a complete failure of up to 5 carriers and/or a Catalyst 6500 while still maintaining our ability to route all client traffic.
