    Future of stynk?

    Last I heard Stynk was in the process of moving to new, faster servers. Now check out their main page this morning.


    Hopefully they'll be back and this is just temporary, they were the best free host in my opinion.

          No fear my Old host Got Pist Off at me and decided to Aviod me and shit and do that give it a few more hours DNS will be On the new servers and There will be Uninterupted Running of my Sites

          and trust me i dont owe them no money They are just **** heads

              Yeah, your other host is in the same situation too, I just checked, that sucks.

              Bad things can happen to anyone, whats important is when you bounce back, then it's more power to you.

                          Well yes it seems most people are getting a Dead Link now

                          So just give it time All my Sites will be back up By mid day monday since the DNS is Taking along time to Switch to the New servers

                              I'm the one Oscer was hosting with.

                              Yes, he does owe me money, $1600 to be exact. This is after I had already lowered it twice. $600 of this is 35 days late and the other is 6 days late. The money is late every month.

                              What am I supposed to do? He tells me he is going to another hosting company (which is not a problem for me), but has only paid me $200 on a $1800 bill for 2 months (which does bother me because I've already paid my provider).

                              And now he is claiming that he owes no money? I can prove he used the bandwidth, can he show the canceled checks for payment?

                              And Oscer BTW, I was asleep this morning, you
                              did not call me until about 2:45 pm CDT and I got up at 3 pm. I'm up now.

                                          Sooooo GB, as a stand up host why aren't you on the phone instead of out saying things like this on public boards? Do you have proof he has tried to NOT pay you? Do you have a reason as to why you haven't responded - returned his calls or ICQ mssgs?

                                          What I *DO* see is you started hosting with that site in July 1998.... and alot of BS here. Why not get on the phone and try and play nice... IE: act like an adult business person. You'd think you'd never experienced and mix-up before.

                                          Why don't you pick up the phone, call your client, get paid and go on hosting?

                                                  One, he only called me today at 2:45pm. I've had no other calls after thursday night when I requested payment again.

                                                  Two, he has been hosted with me since Dec of 2000, not August. I have NO idea where you got that from. His machine has had maybe 14 hours of downtime and NONE of that was my fault. As a matter of fact, I took about $200 of his bill for that downtime, because I thought one of my tech was a little slow fixing the problem WE had not caused.

                                                  Three, I have never shut him off before even when there other problems. It was not until I feared not getting paid did I do anything.

                                                  I took the actions that I thought I needed to get my money.

                                                  Oscer has now paid me my money in full and I will be shipping the server out to his requested address.

                                                  AGAIN: Oscer has paid me in full and I've no complaints about him.

                                                  Oh, BTW, we have had this problem settled since about 9pm yesterday (sunday), but I just hit Submit Now and the damn password was incorrect.

                                                          Those Actions were not Needed to get your money however if Sponsors were quicker Paying you would get your money quicker

                                                          And as for the Actions you felt you had to take should have been done Differently!!

                                                              You may want to come up with another line because that one is really lame. Dont blame sponsors on you not paying someone else, it doesnt look good.
