Well yeah, you need to take things with a grain of salt.
When I chose my hosting co, I chose a brick and mortar co that I already knew and visited one of their data centers.
Not some online reseller operating out of his basement that I can't reach physically unless I take the plane.
But that's just me.
I have other hosting companies that I selected for other projects though(because they provide different services)
