I just bought my wife (soon to be ex) 24 doz long stem roses.

My wife is filing for divorce and is taking my son with her in the split. I am trying to show her that I am a different man and I sent her 24 dozen long stem roses to her house (we were both 24 when we got married 9 years ago). The number 24 always meant something to the both of us.

I drove by her house to see if she was home and all of the roses were out by the trash can broken up and scattered about. The vases were all broken up and put into the recyle bin. My heart is broken.

I don't know what else I can do. I think she found someone new.

Sorry for that..could be she's just angry. If she wasn't pissed off, she'd have just tossed them, or maybe even kept them simply because flowers are pretty. but busting them all up like that comes from being very, very pissed off, and frankly, for you, that's better than apathy, because it means she still cares something for the situation.

Maybe you were a little late with the flowers. There is a message when someone is filing a divorce. It means they don't want to be with you any more.

You'll get over it, just move on. Sad part is you have a son and the role you'll play in his life has changed dramatically.
