I got to go with Lens on this one, having a higher price, will in fact probley allow people to feel more confident in the product. Yet, not being the highest price product, means in the surfers mind, that they are getting a good value for something that will work!

ya.. i think they call it 'prestige pricing' in marketing. here is a good example.. wifebeaters.com used to sell these shirts. they said wife beater accross the chest and you could order them in children's sizes that said 'lil' wifebeater. they would actually give you a discount if you could prove that you had been convicted of abuse or you have a restraining order against you.
