Your account value is not based on a countries currency but the current price of GOLD. It is GOLD that is traded and last time I checked banks don't balance your account in the amount of gold you have

You can send $1 USD very easy but your amount of gold in your account is debited in the value of gold at the time of the transaction. Basically they convert the USD to how much gold is required for you.
Well said but what happens when they, a Nevis Corp, vanish? What is your "insurance" that you will get anything at all. Do you really tink they have gold someplace or are they just playing ponzie with deposits?

Anyone posting her could create a similar website, create an off shore corporation and go into the payment business. They might even be for real, do you know? I don't think I would have much faith in their online numbers unless I had the gold or currency in my hands.
