    9/11 = inside job?

    I had a two guys ring my doorbell this morning. They said they were from the "9/11 truth movement." Out of extreme f'ng curiosity and slight boredom I let them come in my house.

    Once inside they played me a bunch of clips on their laptop showing me all sorts of "evidence" that 9/11 was an "inside job" designed so the US could enter into war in the middle east.

    The weird part is that some of the shit they showed me kinda freaked me out. Should I be wearing foil on my head, or do I just need some coffee?

                      I've had inquiries for 911Tapes.com domain name - apparantly, there's controversy over the content of the 911 tapes of that day - some are even supposedly missing!

                      Did the U.S. govt do 911 ... no likely not, but did some in the govt have advanced warning / allowed 911 to happen - open questions in the minds of many.

                      In regards to those guys - letting strangers in is generally a bad idea, especially they outnumber you.

                                      depends on what their "evidence" was.. ive read lots of that stuff, like the building being cut with something similar to demolitions explosives and the clean diagonal cuts on the beams.. or the fact that they didnt find any airplane wreckage in the pentagon etc.. turns out those are just plain BS. The plane wreckage is there.. clearly visible. and the demolitions explosive cuts were made after cleanup started. So a lot of their so called evidence is just people reaching for straws to have something to fill their imagination with.

                                      That's really the problem when people who have no idea of how to scientifically approach something go after finding the truth. Once you find something that might seem like evidence you do everything you can to disprove it. Instead of preaching how right it is from the very beginning(which is really what conspiracy nuts usually do).

                                                      There are two aspects to 911 ... the actual attack itself and who was behind it; who in the U.S. govt knew what, when, etc.

                                                      Many reasonable folks don't question why the buildings came down, but rather did the U.S. govt have any inkling that 911 was about to happen; allowed it to happen.

                                                      History has a nasty habit of repeating itself - the U.S. government knew in advance about Pearl Harbor and allowed it to happen - that gave the U.S. the reason it had been looking for to then finally send troops and join in on WWII.

                                                      Umm, that sounds familiar - 911 was the reason the U.S. gave to go to war in Iraq (which had nothing to do with 911); the ongoing so-called war on terror.

                                                          I read on of their books and had to laugh. Pretty much everything they complain about can be quickly explained. There are a lot of things we'll just never know about that day.

                                                          I like the one about the other building falling - the one that wasn't hit by a plane. You've got to be kidding me, right? Hundreds of millions of tons of concrete fell that day, and you have the balls to question why one of the other buildings fell? Gee, maybe it was physically moved off of it's foundation???

                                                                              Yup, its amazing how a kid can create a "evidence" movie in his room and without no time people all around the world are sure its a conspiracy based on non existing evidence. In those conspiracy movies you can claim anything. People will instantly believe it and say its the truth.
