Ah, it was bound to happen.
This glorious old powerstation has been abandoned for years, and has been quietly chilling by the river.
Years ago we used to be able to hop in, run around making as much noise as we wanted- it's a huge place, and had heaps to explore.
As time went on, security got tighter to the point that there were 3 trained guard dogs roaming the place.
At the start of the year, it was made public that the place was getting destroyed to build tennis courts.
We snuck in despite the dogs to have a look (and got chased out .. angry dogs)
And now, it's finally begun. Pretty crazy, kinda sad.

He was fairly busy that day so he let me go in by myself; that was so much better as I didn't need to worry about imposing on someone else's time. Considering how large it is - it takes 10 mins just to drive the perimeter road @40km/hr - I was very lucky to have basically unrestricted access to wander around and do my own thing.
