England have the best midfield in the world, they lack on forwards, but forwards are not as important when you get through the qualifiers, after that all the games are won on the odd goal here and there, that will be Englands game. England will be the hardest team to beat, though they may not be the best at scoring lots of goals.

But that said, I fancy Portugal too, I think they are under rated and it could well be their year, at 33-1 bet, its well worth sticking on a few quid.

You can never rule out Brazil who have the best goal scorers in the world. I just think its going to be hard for anyone to beat Englands midfield in the later rounds when not conceding goals becomes more important than scoring.

Brasil is gonna be hard to beat this year.
Just look at the midfield with ronaldinho,juninho and kaka.
Forwards:Adriano,Robinho and Ronaldo (lets hope he is in better shape now than with Real Madrid)

Italy have got an easy run to the finals, if they can beat france in the qtrs.

Argentina have got a horrible group and may finish second.. they'd have to beat England and Brazil to get to the final.

England could did it. the amount of times they've gone out through penalties is crazy.

Most of the England team are playing well and there's depth in the squad, aslong as the goalie doesnt get injured they have a better chance than lasttime.
