                                                              Photostyler was distributed by Aldus Corporation (created by Ulead - makers of PhotoImpact) back in the early 90s.

                                                              Aldus Corp. was absorbed by Adobe who modified/incorporated Photostyler in to Photoshop - making Pstyler the grandaddy to Pshop.

                                                              I still use it since its quick, efficient and not as big a resource pig as Pshop7.
