Grab a bass or a guitar and try to make something remotedly similar to anything those 3 bands have recorded. Maybe and only maybe... you realize they were genius bands. 'The Doors' are fucking amazing playing rock n' roll songs like LA Woman and they have a unique sound. Only The Doors Sound like The Doors and if a band cannot be copied, they're legendary.
Listen to some of the crap that has come out in the last 15 years to see some serious bullshit. I can't believe ppl saying the stones or nirvana or guns n' roses are overrated haha, I bet you listen to electronica and feel like it's almost art.
